    JOB TYPE: Temporary full-time

    SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

    LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Director of Health Analytics, the incumbent is responsible for performing analyses and producing reports on Vitalité Health Network. The incumbent works in collaboration with the Network's internal and external partners on integrating data models and producing reports in Power BI.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • University degree in administration, statistics or a related discipline or strong combination of education and experience;
    • Five to seven years' experience in health data analysis or related fields;
    • Certificate in business intelligence considered an asset (e.g. Power BI, Cognos);
    • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
    • Knowledge of BI tool functions and architectures;
    • Understanding of source data structures, target data structures and ETL processes;
    • Understanding of scorecards, performance indicators, data exploration and predictive analysis (considered an asset);
    • Ability to transform organizational needs into technical solutions;
    • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to work independently;
    • Detail oriented;
    • Able to adapt easily and to manage several tasks simultaneously;
    • Strong communication and writing skills in both official languages;
    • Ability to lead and facilitate discussion and work groups;
    • Proven ability to simplify and adapt the level of technical information to the intended audience;
    • Solid skills in analyzing and researching creative and strategic solutions;
    • Strong management, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills;
    • Ability to manage complex projects with multidisciplinary teams;
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
    • Good work history (performance and attendance);
    • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
    • Adherence to the confidentiality rules set by the Network.
