Metl-Span, A Division of Nucor Corporation is currently seeking some enthusiastic applicants for the position of Machine Operator for our Hamilton, ON location.

Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities with the equipment to maintenance technician.

- Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.

- Operate overhead cranes, conveyors, forklifts, and other mobile equipment - Maintains operating records and reports. - Ensure stocks of needed materials are always ready and available.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and initiative Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to read measuring gauges (tape measure, micrometer, square etc.) Strong communication skills Basic computer skills Ability to work in an indoor non-climate-controlled environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent preferred 1+ yr.
