    Responsibilities Job Description

    AECOM is actively seeking a Lead Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Environment team in Ontario. The right candidate can work locally from our Mississauga or Markham, ON offices. AECOM can provide hybrid work options to give you the flexibility you need to do your best work. This is a full-time position.

    The job responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as lead directing engineer on complex infrastructure projects.
  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for geotechnical assessments.
  • Presents complex technical solutions to external clients.
  • Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.
  • Participates in development of technical and business proposals.
  • Provides technical leadership in the areas of infrastructure construction phase projects.
  • Maintains great relationship with clients and contracts by successful project delivery.
  • Serves as program manager.
  • Attends client meetings and coordinate with diverse project teams.
  • Participates in national organizations, as appropriate on behalf of AECOM.
