    • Qualifications and Experience:
    • An Ontario Teachers Certificate of Qualification
    • Member of the Ontario College of Teachers in good standing
    • Qualifications in ESL required
    • Senior English qualification an asset


    • Note for Candidates:

    • References, if applicable:
    • The UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors, if applicable. If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity, list the length of time you worked for that Supervisor specifying if the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.
    • Placement Teacher References:
    • If using a Placement Teacher as a reference, The UCDSB will need confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is authorized to provide a reference on behalf of the Principal. The UCDSB does not accept colleagues or personal relationships as references.


    • Selection Process:
    • Positions are filled following the OSSTF Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement and/or PPM 165 where applicable. The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks, if applicable.
