    Brandt is currently seeking Territory Managers for our Halifax Material Handling location. This position specializes in the sale of New and Used wholegoods.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell both new and used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Travel across entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by:
  • Growing our share of our existing customer base's wallet spend
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
  • Building relationships
  • Keep current on customers' business activities and needs.
  • Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
  • Sales call activities
  • Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Other projects/duties as required.
  • Required Skills

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven.
  • Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
  • Must be familiar with the Material Handling industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license (a recent driver's abstract will be required).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
