- Master of Christian Studies or Master of Divinity degree
- Aligns with LGC's Statement of Faith (
- Previous pastoral ministry experiences, preferably within a multi-generational, multi-language and multi-congregational setting
- Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Abilities in Mandarin and Cantonese would be strong assets
- A purposeful planner to expand God's kingdom in creating and developing programs, mobilising the congregation and equipping lay leaders and volunteers
- Experience with ethnic second-generation culture is beneficial
- Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Passionate in proclaiming God's words and training up disciples. A heart for mentoring the youth is an asset
- Caring and compassionate towards others
- Team player in serving together within the pastoral team and ministry teams
- Takes initiative and is proactive in leading congregants
