Number of Positions: 5


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct Psychotherapy Assessments to determine root causes of functional concerns.
  • Write up Psychotherapy reports as requested by clients.
  • Provide counselling and intervention for children and adolescents who present with a broad range of disorders (depression, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, abuse, domestic violence, loss and grief).
  • Manage an assigned caseload and contribute to the quality of care to clients through adherence to the professional standards of the Ontario College of Psychology (CPO).
  • Support client families by providing individual counselling and resources to parents that will support the development of normal behaviour.

Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology;
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD);
  • Two years of clinical experience working with children an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Welldeveloped clinical skills;
  • Registration with the Canadian College of Psychologists (CPO);
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting;
