Description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, the position will be responsible for conducting a review and alignment of existing business dashboards to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

This will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, gather feedback, and implement solutions that provide alignment with strategic decisions.

Collaboration with team members will be key to implement data visualization enhancements on existing dashboards.

Contribute as part of a team, responsible for delivering business intelligence capabilities to support internal and external ministry stakeholders' information needs.
Deliver work products based on various sets of data, including those relevant to Ministry business areas.
Work with a selection of technology products that must scale to the everchanging technology and increasing appetite for information from internal and external ministry stakeholders.
Must be able to work effectively with a team made up of inhouse staff and contract resources.
Analyze data and prepare information results.
Gather and document client requirements.
Design and construct information products.
Capture business and technical metadata for information products.
Gather requirements for control processes, including schedule management, statusreporting, issues, risk, and change management at the program level.
Produce deliverables within specified quality standards and timeline.
Define and perform quality assurance on BI deliverables.
Respond to adhoc information inquiries.
Perform data analysis, data quality audits/reviews, statistical analysis and data mining.
Escalate issues and risks, as appropriate.
Work within a multivendor/staff environment.
