Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare creative writing activities to meet the needs and interests of kid and teen students
  • Teach creative writing to kids and teens based on school's policies
  • Develop lesson plans for the classes
  • Develop ageappropriate instructional strategies to achieve the curriculum goals
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is ageappropriate
  • Set and maintain acceptable standards of classroom behavior to establish an orderly learning environment
  • The position is not remote, and we need applicants who live in Toronto

Qualifications

  • BA or diploma in English Literature, or the related fields
  • High fluency in English
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
