Full Time, Contract (18 Months)

The Role:

The CRM Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, configuration and optimal performance of our CRM system, Salesforce.

The CRM Administrator collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to manage and optimize our Salesforce platform to support operations and enhance its efficiency.

The CRM administrator works directly with process owners across the organization on installation, upgrade, troubleshooting of issues and providing technical support to include assistance with GCA special events


What your day looks like:

Serve as one of the administrators for our Salesforce CRM and Amilia eCommerce platform and handle day-to-day administrative functions:

  • Manage user permissions and provide necessary training and support to the users when needed.
  • Provide ongoing system support, including assisting users with issues, inquiries and performing configuration changes.
  • Create reports, dashboards, workflows, and processes.
  • Perform routine data health checkups, cleaning, and deduplication.
  • Support the configuration of program registrations at Amilia eCommerce.
  • Review upcoming new Salesforce releases, evaluates the impact on the current configuration.
  • Create documentation, including training material, error reports, and changelogs.
  • Investigate and resolve problems and coordinate/follow up with Salesforce support teams, consultants, and Salesforce plugin vendors.
  • Maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement prospect lists, ensuring clean, complete, and accurate database.
  • Review campaign metrics and provide recommendations for future campaign success.
Support and collaborate with Marketing, Foundation and Programs to plan, coordinate, and execute GCA and Foundation sponsored events to include but not limited to:

  • Support the setup of paid or free event registrations using Salesforce Blackthorn Events
  • Participate in the Symposium Committee to plan and implement the GCA's Bi-Annual International Symposium.
  • Provide support for website updates, registrations, and other technical issues.
  • Plans and host community outreach and other fundraising events such as the Annual Client Holiday Party and the Annual Family Picnic.
  • Assist the GCA Webinar Committee in organizing and delivering webinars.
  • Work closely with Foundation and GCA leadership to brainstorm and plan new events and opportunities.
Supports the Director of Technology and Innovation with other duties as assigned.


What you bring to the role:

  • Post-secondary education in related field.
  • Minimum two (2) year of handson experience with Salesforce administration.
  • Salesforce certificate.
  • Experience in newsletter design and deployment, especially in Pardot will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as SaaS platforms management, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, SSL.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills: identify root cause, collect details, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to produce quality work with mínimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS.
  • Proficient in graphic design software including Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work closely with vendors, sponsors, venues, and departments.
  • Superior ability to work well with others and be an effective team member.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to keep up with various projects simultaneously.
  • Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check.
  • Proof of full vaccination against COVID19.
