Salary Scale:
As per collective agreement

Key Responsibilities:


  • To work as a member of the interprofessional team.
  • To provide direct client care in compliance with regulatory standards and policies and procedures of Elmsmere Villa Retirement Residence and the RHRA protocols.
  • Facilitate and provide client and family education. Person and family centered care philosophy required.
  • To participate in conferences where applicable.
  • To advise DOC or RPN if there is any significant changes in client's condition and or medical emergencies; provide emergency first aid and CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) and coordinate the emergency response.
  • To promote and uphold the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality and integrity towards residents and their families.

Qualifications

  • PSW Certificate and training
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required.
  • Current vulnerable position sector screening (VPS) Criminal Record Check.
  • Current TB test and redone every year. Covid19 test negative. Covid 19 vaccinated

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
From $16.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
