Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and assist with various construction projects. This role involves physical work on-site, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the timely completion of construction tasks. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on construction sites
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and materials
- Perform manual labor such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials
- Support skilled workers with tasks like measuring, mixing concrete, or installing fixtures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on construction sites is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow detailed instructions
