Job Description_

We are looking to hire a well-organized, polite, and enthusiastic part-time
Receptionist for our Bank & Hunt Club location. Hours are _either_ 7am - 3:30pm, _or_3:30pm - 8pm, 7-days a week. Weekend work is also a requirement.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:_

  • Ensuring that all office duties and functions are carried out in a confidential, efficient, timely, and accurate manner—in accordance with Waterford Policies and Procedures
  • Greeting all visitors—by standing and smiling when someone opens the front door
  • Receiving and directing visitors and their enquiries
  • Relaying and coordinating resident and staff messages
  • Participating in the admission process, including the filling out of movein and moveout checklists
  • Processing admissions, discharges, temporary absences, and so on—on all required forms and lists
  • Updating residents' and staff lists on a daily basis
  • Administering and accounting for the Tuck Shop and meal revenue
  • Sorting and processing all incoming and outgoing mail, and redirecting mail as instructed
  • Coordinating the receipt and delivery of daily newspapers to residents' suites
  • Receiving and attending to residents' dry cleaning
  • Apprehending, respecting, and promoting the Resident Rights and Responsibilities directives
  • Assisting the Executive Director when and where needed
  • Answering queries from the public when the Sales Manager is unavailable
  • Upholding an excellent public image on behalf of the residence.

Qualifications You Bring to The Waterford_

  • Valuable organizational skills for keeping various, numerous calendars systematically arranged
  • A pleasant and welcoming professional demeanor
  • Effective interpersonal and written communications skills
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office
  • Good overall numeracy and IT skills
  • Demonstrated skill, efficiency, and conscientiousness in the performance of all assigned duties with a minimum of supervision.
