Machining Estimator/PM-Barrie - Kingston, Canada - Avery Human Resources
Description
On behalf of our Barrie client, Avery HR is seeking a Machining Project Manager/Estimator to join their growing team.Previous hands-on experience as a Machinist is a pre-requisite for this position. Candidates without will not be considered.
Requirements & responsibilities:
Minimum 10 years' experience as a Project Manager, with hands-on machining experience
Manage new projects from inception to completion, including lead generation and estimating.
Ability to maintain existing relationships with clients, build upon them, and generate new business.
Full understanding of CNC machining, conventional machining and related processes.
Able to determine appropriate methods for completion of various machining projects.
Proficiency generating cost proposals based on information provided form blueprints, site visits, sample parts and interactions with customer representatives.
Self driven with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills a necessity.
Basic knowledge of welding techniques an asset (but not required)
Salary range $80K to $95K, based on experience. Work schedule is Monday to Friday.
