About the Position
ACFH is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced finish/rough carpenter to work on a variety of residential construction projects. The role also includes general handy man tasks from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Complete various carpentry duties, with or without supervision, including cabinetry installation, interior finishing, hanging doors, baseboard, crown moulding, window installation, etc.
• Operate a variety of hand and power carpentry tools, and other construction equipment.
• Complete occasional handy man tasks including drywall repair, taping and painting, flooring repair, etc.
• Foster a positive and professional work environment.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Able to read basic construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
• Able to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
• Able to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Strong English language communication skills.
• Applicants must be a resident of the GTA and legally allowed to work in Canada.
• Valid G driver's license and good driving record.

Full-time, roughly 40 hours/week


Salary:
Commensurate with experience, $40-43/hour
