    Job Description
    Handles monetary transactions and performs advanced cashiering duties

    Provides a steady leadership presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees and vendors to ensure Eataly's operations are running smoothly and high hospitality standards are met.

    Supports, motivates, guides, educates and mentors team members
    Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service
    Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise and ensures highest quality standards are met.
    Monitors inventory, checks orders and distributes supplies as needed throughout the department
    Collects, organizes and sends documentation arriving with shipments to the Inventory Control (IC) Associate
    Supports in maintaining records to shipment loading and unloading, transfer of goods, etc.
    Manages transactions and ensures accurate accounting
    Records shift notes and assists with administrative duties such as scheduling when needed
    Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves employee or guest incidents
    Performs other duties as required or assigned
    Qualifications
    ~1+ year of experience as a supervisor in a retail setting, with experience leading a retail team preferred
    ~ High school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary degree from restaurant management or hospitality program preferred.
    ~ Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical equations
    ~ Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office
    ~ Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage preferred


    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends
    Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
