As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and service are maintained.

Responsibilities:


Production:

  • Monitor Manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve production efficiency
  • Manage maintenance operations for smooth production processes
  • Analyze and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, lead meetings

Plant Management:

  • Ensure plant production meets customer requirements and maintains productive operations
  • Optimize staffing levels in alignment with projected production needs and company growth targets
  • Develop and manage training programs in coordination with HR to enhance employee skills
  • Ensure plant operations comply with health, safety, and environmental policies

Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with the team and stakeholders
  • Assist in problem solving

Leadership and Development:

  • Develop and coach leaders, motivating teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • Succession planning

Qualifications:


  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • Experience in a unionized work environment is preferred
  • Experience in the steel industry is considered an asset

Salary:
$100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
