Job summary
We are looking for a Seasonal Field Technician to carry out land management activities in the Kootenay Region. The role involves site assessments, maintenance and habitat restoration on conservation areas.Responsibilities
- Site assessments on conservation lands that include but are not limited to: wildlife and habitat inventory
- , mapping functions (e.g. ArcGIS Field Maps), and reporting of land management issues including illegal activities
- Invasive species removal, maintenance of restoration sites, and replanting of native vegetation using hand tools and power tools
- Fitness to work outdoors in summer weather, crossing various terrain daily on foot with regular heavy lifting

- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
