    Description

    The Manufacturing Team Leader oversees production schedules according to the customer shipment schedule; leads team development, process improvement and developing/executing the Manufacturing team strategy.

    Develops and executes on manufacturing team strategy.
    Develops production support activities to run a 24/7 manufacturing strategy.
    Provides strategic direction to manufacturing planning, maximizing team capacity.

    Provides guidance and shares ideas with team members on Team Leader's scope of activities within the manufacturing processes, leveraging a basic working knowledge of manufacturing processes.

    Provides direction and holds team members accountable for meeting standard target operation times consistently, accounting for controlling plans and simulation of cutting.

    Ensures the team is comprised of individuals with varying skillsets, on a wide range of projects.
    Ensure Husky's productivity and quality standards are met.
    Adheres to customer shipment schedules, ensuring quality standards and procedures are met and adhered to.

    Manages the team and holds team members accountable for achieving production targets and deadlines based on broader business goals; Sets targets that align to Husky's goals for cost, quality, and speed, and holds team members accountable for achieving customer desired target levels, identifying roadblocks and corrective action.

    Leads and directs team members on continuous improvement initiatives through strategic planning, leveraging the closed-loop mechanism to consistently enhance performance and manages daily process improvements.

    Lead cross-training and knowledge sharing activities with other team members
    Leads, manages and develops the team, which includes but is not limited to coaching, mentoring and cross-training.
    Facilitates and enables corrective action as a result of relevant data sets/trends/SPCs and debugging measurement errors, encouraging team members to work across teams (e.g., Ensures appropriate training is in place and serves as a role model for team members.
    Post-Secondary education or 5-10 years of relevant work experience
    3-5 years of manufacturing experience
    ~ Previous leadership experience an asset
