THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist with data entry experience to join our team at our corporate offices in Burnaby.

This position will be fully in office.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reception Duties:

Answers calls on multiline telephone system.
Greets visitors and directs them.
Distributes incoming mail and faxes.
Prepares courier bags and arranges pick ups
Orders office and lunchroom supplies

Data Entry:

Codes invoices and sends to the appropriate manager for approval.
Posts invoices in DSI Accounts Payable system
Provides backup for preparation of expense reimbursement cheques for managers and sales force.
Keys journal entries, daysheets, wire transfers, deal settlements and equipment invoices
Prepares and keys G & A journal entries for month end close
Electronic filing of accounts payable and vehicle journals
Assisting with vehicle plates and insurance

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

One year certificate from college or business school preferred
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) essential
2+ years of related experience in fast paced environment
Working knowledge of MS Office programs, especially MS Excel
Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge as it relates to Accounts Payable and Payroll
Good knowledge and display of telephone etiquette
Good organizational skills
Accurate keyboarding skills with good speed
Excellent customer relations skills
Able to work independently with mínimal daytoday supervision
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
