AlarmTek Smart Security, a leading provider of integrated smart security solutions, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Smart Home Installation Technician.

Job Summary:

As a Smart Home Installation Technician, you will be responsible for providing our customers with an exceptional service experience by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various smart home systems.

This includes but is not limited to security systems, home automation systems, surveillance cameras, smart lighting, and smart thermostats. You will also be tasked with customer education on system operation and functionality.

This role requires a blend of technical skills, customer service skills, and a basic understanding of computers and networking to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


Install, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of smart home systems, including but not limited to security systems, home automation systems, surveillance cameras, smart lighting, and smart thermostats.

Configure and troubleshoot network connections for smart devices and systems.

Provide customer education on system operation, functionality, and network requirements.

Follow installation and service protocols, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Conduct system tests and inspections to verify system functionality and ensure proper installation.

Deliver top-notch customer service by resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance, with the flexibility to work overtime as necessary.


Requirements:

Minimum of one year of experience in smart home technology installation or a related trade.

Basic understanding of computers and networking.

Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle.

Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
