    Description

    We are a high-growth, fast-paced growing business that manufactures consumables cartridges used in protein research and bio-pharma drug discovery & quality control.

    We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the manufacturing organization driving and sustaining continuous improvement activities.

    You will be responsible for delivering significant immediate top-line revenue growth, while improving quality, improving delivery performance, and managing cost.

    You will also be responsible for building and executing a longer-term plan to match future capacity and organizational strength (people/process) with future demand needs.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Apply ISO9001 Quality Management System standards and requirements for release of biotech products.
    Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.

    Develop and evaluate manufacturing processes for design and improvement by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, conferring with internal process engineering management.


    Education and Experience:

    Minimum 10 years of experience managing manufacturing operations with direct experience managing resources in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering or quality engineering


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Proven ability to execute multiple priorities simultaneously using critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
    Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams with experience in a rapidly growing business.
    Good financial skills in budgeting, expense control, and forecasting.
    Prior experience in an engineering role is a plus.
    Excellent project management, communication, and change management skills.
