The Role
Working within the group benefits sales team, this position will assist with lead generation and sales. This includes; outbound calling and addressing client questions and concerns regarding policies, and appointment setting. The role requires experience with high volume of calls, attention to detail, and exceptional time/priority management.
Qualifications
- Completion of postsecondary degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' experience with outbound calling or related experience.
- Knowledge of Group Health Insurance plans a plus but not required.
- Advanced Proficiency in Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Must be strongly detail oriented.
- Ability to work with clients to support, explain and provide the assistance they need in a professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and completing tasks in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Outbound calls.
- Work closely with internal sales team and prospects.
- Communicating Northern's valueadd to existing and prospective clients.
- Interface with prospects and resolve client inquiries and concerns.
- Respond to written and telephone requests from clients within service standards.
- Provide recommendations for resolution of problems and issues and suggest process improvements.
