    What is the job role?

    All Saints Church of England Primary is in the heart of Coventry. We are a one form entry school and nursery which cultivates a family feel where every individual is known and cared for by all. We offer a friendly, welcoming environment and place great emphasis on the pastoral and spiritual development of our children, families and staff. Our ethos is grounded in Christian and British Values.

    We are looking for a friendly, dynamic and inspirational individual, to lead and manage our Catering Facility. The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a school kitchen as a cook or a general assistant.

    You will be innovative, creative and passionate, ensuring our children have the best experience of healthy eating from a young age. You will have experience of cooking healthy delicious meals, reviewing and implementing change, ordering supplies and menu planning, in order to deliver high quality healthy food on budget and on time.

    You will need to adhere to safe working practices with regard to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene Regulations and maintain high standards of Personal Hygiene.

    Who are we looking for?

    The successful candidate will:

    · Create and serve delicious and nutritious meals for our pupils.

    · Menu plan and manage budgets.

    · Lead and motivate one other member of the catering team.

    · Demonstrate a good knowledge of catering legislation including allergens.

    · Be articulate and able to communicate effectively with all share holders.
