The Registered Kinesiologist, under the direction of the Director or Manager of Rehabilitation/Clinical Supervisor, is responsible for completion of professional activities that include: file reviews, assessment, treatment, education, and management of clients requiring therapeutic intervention, in accordance with professional standards.

Both salary and independent contractor positions available

Job Qualification

Qualifications
External
Registered Kinesiologist in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
Experience reviewing forms, reports and documents and making clinical decisions based on specific criteria
Experience in assessment and treatment of clients with various injuries and conditions, including physical, functional, psychoemotional and cognitive impairments
Experience in ergonomics, job coaching, job demands analyses, return to work planning, FAE training and disability management
Experience working in auto insurance, WSIB and with Employers an asset
Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Strong and effective written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills
At least two COVID19 vaccines
Clinical Responsibilities:
Responsible for the assessment of clients, establishment and ongoing evaluation of treatment programs including job coaching, goal setting, work hardening and return to work programs.
Responsible for review of forms, reports and documents and making clinical decisions based on specific criteria
Responsible for completing assessments such as ergonomic assessments, post offer employment testing, job demands analyses, FAEs and other assessments as requested.
Maintains accurate clinical records according to standards set by College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress and discharge plans.
Collaborates with other members of the health team as needed.
Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients/care providers and provides education regarding treatment strategies as needed.

Remain in good standing with College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities
Adhere to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab Policies and Procedures
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
Complete other tasks as requested
