Our Solution Architecture team is looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing team. The Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional team and deliver solutions by conducting research, analysis and implement best practices.

The Business Analyst reports directly to the Director of Solution Architecture.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business groups to gather and document requirements for new initiatives and projects.
  • Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams on delivering solutions that meet business requirements and improve overall efficiency.
  • Support the design and evaluation of solution options by conducting research and analysis on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications to support the development of custom solutions.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and ensure all requirements are captured and prioritized.
  • Standardize and create templates for various requirements and architecture artifacts such as Business Requirements Document (BRD), Request for Proposal (RFP), Use Cases, and Solution Architecture.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Work with Stakeholders Architects to document and maintain business capabilities matrix
  • Use and standardize variety of requirements modelling techniques such as user stories, process mapping, acceptance criteria, and business rules to convey information.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
  • Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
  • Complete other tasks as requested

Job Qualification


Education and Experience

  • 35 experience as a business analyst (or equivalent) role; Healthcare Industry experience will be a plus.

Other Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working on software development projects.
  • Ability to elicit and document both Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for the healthcare industry and a desire to make a positive impact in the field.
  • A talented facilitator skilled in negotiation and influencing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Proficient in using productivity tools such as MS Office, Miro, Visio, JIRA etc.
  • Nice to have: Healthcare Industry Experience, familiarity with Power BI, M365, D365.
