SSP Canada operates several restaurants throughout the Ottawa International Airport, including: Starbucks, Cork & Well, Darcy McGees, Cafe En Vin, Jetbox, Tim Horton's, Bridgehead Coffee, Canal Market and Big Rig Brewing.
At SSP Canada, our Front of House Supervisors are the first step into management.

Supervisors have the very important position of ensuring our standards are consistently achieved by our team of Food Travel Experts.

They work to provide the best customer service to our guests and exemplify our Passion Principles.


Some of the main responsibilities are:

  • Ensure that all standards for product and merchandising brands are met.
  • Maintain brand operational standards and ensure that unit cleaning, temperature and knife checklists are completed on a daily basis.
  • Provide support, direction and encouragement to help the team achieve business goals.
  • Coach team members through the induction process by acting as a training companion to ensure complete orientation and the maintenance of brand standards.
  • Ensure that products are of superior quality.
  • Responsible for overseeing all cash operations.
  • Conduct daily PRESHIFT meetings
  • Ensures Mapaq and Steritech procedures are followed by team members
  • Ensures customer satisfaction per Lanla "mystery shopper" program
  • Ensures DTT procedures are followed by team members
  • Ensure accurate rotations are completed on all products
  • Daily enplanement checks
  • Oversee food preparation.
  • To Ensure team members are cashed in and out in a timely manner
  • Take initiative to help team members during busy periods
  • Receive daily store orders
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained adequately

Skills & Other Requirements:


  • One year minimum experience in a full service restaurant in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to read, interpret and articulate instructions using clear and direct language.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in handling cash
    .
