Aramark Canada is recruiting for Food Service Supervisors across all provinces nationally: Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia as far as Northwestern Territories.

Food Service Supervisors (NOC Example titles:
Cafeteria supervisor, Canteen supervisor, Culinary supervisor, Catering supervisor, Food service supervisor

Food service supervisors supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of workers who prepare, portion and serve food.

They are employed by hospitals and other health care establishments and by cafeterias, catering companies and other food service establishments.


Responsibilities:

They are employed by colleges, hospitals and other health care establishments and by cafeterias, catering companies, remote campsites and other food service establishments.


  • Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals or other customers
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
  • Supervise and check assembly of regular and special diet trays and delivery of food trolleys to hospital patients
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
  • May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs.

Employment Requirements:


  • Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
  • Completion of secondary school is usually required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have valid passport with minimum of 2 years before expiry date.
  • Be able to provide proof that you will leave Canada when your work permit expires.

- obey the law and have no record of criminal activity (you may be asked to provide a police clearance certificate)

  • Not be a danger to Canada's security.
- be in good health and have a medical exam.
