Water Babies Background


Founded in the UK, Water Babies is the world's largest, most professional baby and toddler-swimming franchise business teaching over 45,000 babies and toddlers (Ages 0-5, our youngest client was just 1 day old) per week through an international network of 70+ franchise outlets across 7 countries; the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, China and Canada.


We are looking for someone who is available to teach 6-15 hours a week, with access to a car. Our next training cycle is set to start in in the next week
and a half, which would be the start date for this position.

We have pools all through Downtown Toronto and Scarborough. We are looking for teachers in both, but are especially recruiting for a teacher at our Scarborough locations.


Don't worry if you are currently not a certified swim instructor, we will help guide you through the process if you are the right fit.

We are looking for committed people that want to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Compensation includes retention bonuses to reflect this.


Teacher's Class Responsibilities:


  • Teach classes to our adorable students
  • Plan all Classes ahead of time and be familiar with your plan
  • Transport themselves and equipment to and from the class venue
  • Perform any opening duties if required at class venue
  • Supervise the clients while in the pool area
  • Take attendance and notes for each Class, and report to the office on the
  • Perform any closing duties if required at class venue

Out of Pool Duties for Teacher's Classes:

  • Create a quarterly plan every 3 months
  • Maintain notes on swimmer's progress and development.
  • Attend a Teacher's meal once a quarter to designate the Teacher's Classes for the next term and to receive important updates and information

Experience:


  • Aquatics: 1 year (preferred)
  • Working with Children: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • NLS (preferred)
  • Swim Instructor (preferred)
