Overview

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Industrial Instrumentation Technician for projects with our Drumheller branch. Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, calibration, valve rebuilding and general instrumentation maintenance experience on Industrial Oil & Gas or Petro-chemical facilities.
• Able to independently manage one's own time and workload.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Instrumentation certificate with Red Seal.
• Must have previous troubleshooting, calibration, valve rebuilding and general instrumentation maintenance experience on Industrial Oil & Gas or Petro-chemical facilities.
• At least 2 years of instrumentation experience on industrial maintenance projects.
• Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid – Level A or C with CPR/AED, and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to independently manage one's own time and workload.
• Must have general computer skills and a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Adobe.
