  • Full timeWith 17 stores across the country, inventory optimization is critical to our continued commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.


Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Inventory Optimization ensures the optimal distribution and replenishment of inventory across all our stores and for e-commerce.

The incumbent works closely with the purchasing group, the E-Commerce team, and stores to gather critical data for demand forecasting and inventory distribution optimization.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and develop a team of analysts.
  • Use analytical tools and statistical models to model the demand, maximize sales, optimize inventory rotation, and reduce lost sales and markdowns.
  • Work closely with the IT, Purchasing, Stores, E-Commerce and Distribution Centre teams to support projects, meet constraints, and create optimized stock replenishment within a unified business environment.
  • Identify areas for improvement of inventory replenishment and allocation processes, develop implementation plans, and oversee their execution.
  • Continuously improve the planning system and workflow process to avoid disconnection of processes from the value chain.
  • Analyze the root causes of any operational inefficiencies and offer solutions for improvements.
  • Visit stores regularly to get feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in solution assessment and the transformation of the company's integrated planning system.

Desired Profile:


  • Hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Data Analysis, or any other relevant field.
  • Have at least six (6) years of professional experience in analysis, data modelling, or inventory management.
  • Be an engaging leader.
  • Be very analytical and have advanced statistical modelling and strategic planning skills.
  • Have experience using generative AI in inventory planning (an asset).
  • Be able to effectively communicate in English and French, both spoken and written, in order to do so with all stakeholders.
