    We are looking for a RAMS Manager for the Hurontario LRT project in Toronto, Canada.

    The RAMS Manager is responsible for leading System Safety team in designing, implementing, and optimizing safety aspects of the Civil Works for a Mass Transit Project in Ontario.

    He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and drive initiatives to enhance the overall performance and safety. . This role requires a deep understanding of Safety principles, RAM principles, safety protocols (UNI EN 50126, FTA Safety Handbook) and the ability to integrate these into the organization's operations to ensure the highest levels of safety and efficiency.

    The international professional will have the following key responsibilities:

    • Analyse, review, modify, control and overall manage the Hazard Log
    • Develop Construction Safety Certifications (CSCC) for each and every Certifiable Element of the Project
    • Conduct detailed Safety analyses for complex systems and processes.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify potential safety risks and integrate safety measures into the safety strategy.
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs within the RAMS framework.
    • Ensure safety protocols are embedded in all aspects of the organization's operations.
    • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with reliability, availability, and maintainability, with a specific focus on safety.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Stay informed about relevant safety, reliability, and industry regulations.
    • Ensure the organization's adherence to safety standards and compliance requirements.
    • Implement performance monitoring systems to assess the effectiveness of safety measures within the RAMS framework.
    • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for enhancement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure a holistic approach to RAMS safety.
    • Facilitate communication and knowledge-sharing among different departments.
    • Develop and oversee procedures for responding to safety incidents within the RAMS context.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in RAMS or Safety Management is preferred.
    • Extensive experience in RAMS analysis and safety management, particularly in industries with high safety requirements.
    • In-depth knowledge of RAMS principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices (UNI EN 50126 and FTA Safety Handbook)
