    Description

    Magmic is in search of a talented and versatile Junior QA Analyst with a genuine passion for gaming and delivering exceptional user experiences. As a Junior QA Analyst, you'll be responsible for testing game features, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring a seamless gaming experience across platforms. Collaborate with the development team, conduct performance and usability testing, and contribute to the overall improvement of game quality. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality gaming products to our users while adhering to industry best practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage Customer Support (Uservoice Tickets, Online, and Reviews).
    • Create Weekly Support/Health reports
    • Report analytics bugs on Jira to help the QA lead understand customer messages.
    • Identify, define, and test events, metrics, and dashboards to measure the performance of the games and their features
    • Help in the creation and distribution of Reports for our games.
    • Work with team members to update the Roadmap for our games.
    • Collect data for PM reports and meetings.
    • Participate in the definition of LiveOps strategies related to the content, targeting, promotions, acquisition and update releases to maximize the game's potential
    • Research best practices alongside playing and testing competitors' games.
    • Using researched data, provide clear recommendations to optimize retention, engagement, and monetization of in-game features.
    • Propose AB tests, ensure their correct implementation, and present key findings
    • Help to optimize our integrated ad networks to maintain and grow advertisement revenue sources.
    • Help with game App Store Optimization strategy
    • Work with Game Designer(s) to identify new features to improve game performance.
    • Reply to Support Tickets in a timely and professional manner.
    • Moderate and manage the games' community boards.
    • Support the Product Management team by reporting major issues in games.
    • Adjust player inventory to manage user-level issues.
    • Generate a weekly report of Game Health.
    • Keep our customers satisfied and coming back for more.
    • Work closely with the Art Director and Game Director to implement UI features, incorporating Design and User feedback for continuous refinement.
    • Address conflicts between UI visual direction and game design needs or technical constraints, offering creative solutions.
    • Prioritize, plan, and oversee the creation of UI assets, ensuring consistency with the project's creative vision.
    • Engage with development partners to deliver and maintain the creative vision, ensuring the delivery of visually striking and high-quality visuals.
    • Manage responsibilities, proactively report blockers, and seek feedback to resolve issues effectively.
    • Autonomously regulate workload, meet time-sensitive requests, and resolve challenges that may arise.

    Requirements

    • Some experience playtesting or QA internships
    • Interests: Avid gamer, Sports games, RPG and Mobile idle games
    • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
    • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

    Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
