Toptable Group is delighted to join Victoria's vibrant dining community and is poised to unveil a new fresh and approachable seafood restaurant concept in 2023.

We are looking for a passionate service professionals to be a part of our opening team.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for experienced servers to provide exceptional dining experiences by creating genuine and sincere connections with our guests.

They will need to learn, develop and communicate a high knowledge of the food, cocktails and wine selections.

They are a part of a dynamic service team that works strongly together to deliver unforgettable food, delicious drinks and impeccable service to each guest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(Other duties may be assigned as required)

Full understanding and knowledge of the all the menus and can confidently and professionally describe all menu items
To provide the utmost professionalism and attention to detail to each guest
Work effectively with coworkers in a strong team environment
Answer questions about food, beverage, wine, and other restaurant functions and services. Breakdown and explain the menu concept and style
Replenish mise en place, refill glasses, fold napkins, stay on top of table maintenance
Work safely. Monitor the cleanliness of your section and ensure all material and areas are safe and free from clutter

Required Experience and Qualifications:

2+ years minimum of fine dining service experience
Certification in liquor, wine (WSET) and food service are an asset
Passionate about and has a high level of wine cocktail and food knowledge
Serving it Right certification
A team player who is positive, energetic and organized
Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency to satisfy the needs of the guests
Professional with a strong work ethic
Has the ability to stay calm, prioritize and synchronize the sequence of service throughout service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Available evenings, weekends and holidays
Must have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, CIS or a valid work permit
