As Vice President Finance you will provide financial leadership for all aspects of the market including: Accounting, Finance, Treasury and Logistics/Customer Support for entire Canada.

You will also be the key business partner to the EVP, Canada market and provide financial guidance and counsel to Sales, Trade Marketing and Operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Be the lead and responsible person for all matters concerning Canada finance.
  • Lead Canada's annual budget process for both BBC & Kindred. Coordinate with all functional senior leaders to ensure active participation, understanding, accountability and ownership of the process and goals.
  • Lead the financial close process and financial performance reporting for both BBC & Kindred including completion of all management reporting, balance sheet reviews and financial control governance.
  • Provide decision support guidance for BBC and Kindred including financial analyses and recommendations on potential business/supplier acquisitions, initiatives and programs.
  • Manage financial relationships with key supplier partners including participation in monthly touch points, quarterly business reviews, top to tops, market tours and oversight of supplier financial reporting.
  • As a member of the Canada Executive Leadership team, participate in executive leadership priorities including monthly meetings, town halls, regional sales meetings and EVP/Corporate initiatives.
  • As a leader within BBG maintain a strong organization while developing talent with a focus on diversity & inclusion
  • Develop all team members and identify/facilitate exposure to crossfunctional skills needed for subsequent roles.
  • Build an inclusive, engaged, and productive culture one representative of BBG's core values.
  • Lead treasury management for BBC and Kindred including cash flow analyses, debt management and overall governance.
  • Lead the tax reporting process for BBC and Kindred including monthly sales tax filings, annual corporate return filings and ad hoc filings as necessary; liaise with 3rd party consultants as required.
  • Proactively identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the function & business.
  • Ensure commitment to Company's objective to maintain full compliance across the function.
  • Partner with market GM/EVP to deliver the Market P&L and the annual plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
  • Proven record as a driven leader with deep functional knowledge of accounting, finance or related professional work experience


  • Professional certification

  • CPA, preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, financial modeling and budgeting experience in support of an operating entity
  • Performance track record of driving process optimization and identifying and implementing financial performance improvements
  • Significant MS Office skills, in particular Excel, and experience with ERP systems, such as SAP
  • Indepth knowledge of key finance and accounting processes such as budgeting, financial reporting, treasury management, Federal and local tax compliance
  • An authentic and inspiring leader with a track record of leading teams and developing talent
  • Sound industry experience and solid understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Strong capability of managing through influence
  • Sound knowledge of working in a highly regulated environment

INTERDEPENDENCIES

  • Will work closely with Senior leaders to drive strategic priorities, implement BBG's longterm vision, and execute on key initiatives
  • Will work closely with NA Finance team to design, plan, and implement capabilities/critical initiatives in the market.
