The Access Control Manager will be responsible for managing a team or experts executing user access provisioning and de-provisioning activities across multiple platforms (AEB 'M90A, FDCT, NWKC' Mainframe, Heather Mainframe, RACF, TSO & Active Directory).

They will also provide support and serve as a liaison for activities related to security, compliance and internal/external audits.

Under the direction and leadership of the Senior Access Control Manager, the function will technically support our customers by processing security and compliance requests, executing and maintaining procedures to support compliance and team projects as directed.


Role Duties

  • Manage a team of access provisioning specialists; providing leadership and acting as an escalation point for issues.
  • Execute user access provisioning and deprovisioning activities across multiple platforms (AEB 'M90A, FDCT, NWKC' Mainframe, Heather Mainframe, RACF, TSO & Active Directory)
  • Collaborate with Sun Life peers on compliance, security and related concepts and controls to ensure the organization aligns with the Sun Life Logical Access Security Directive
  • Act as a mentor to existing team, providing oversight & training
  • Ensure security and compliance requests are completed within defined

    Agreement's
  • Assist with internal\external, 3rd party compliance & audit requests
  • Provide administration and support for RACF Digital Certificates
  • Support owners of internal and regulatory controls such as SOX, SSAE16 and PCI by providing the appropriate documentation and position of compliance
  • Provide first & second level support on access related queries (via Departmental Mailboxes, Chat Pods & Phone)
  • Develop and maintain IAM processes, procedures and documentation
  • Provide SLA compliance reports and metrics to Senior Management
  • Lead & participate in meetings as required
  • Inform Senior Access Control Manager of any concerns related to security or compliance vulnerabilities
  • Provide out of hours oncall RACF, AEB, Heather Mainframe support on a rotating basis or as required
  • Researching Industry best practises and identifying areas for improvement
  • Provide support for Security initiatives\team projects

Requirements:


  • Third Level Certificate or Higher
  • 3+ years' experience in Identity & Access Management role
  • 3+ experience in RACF & Mainframe
  • Familiarity with Heather Mainframe, AEB 'M90A, FDCT, NWKC' Mainframe, SailPoint IdentityIQ, Active Directory & Service Now
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment by prioritizing tasks and escalating/communicating issues as required
  • Ability to seek assistance to overcome obstacles
  • Strong problem solving and decisionmaking skills
  • Work independently, demonstrate initiative, adapt to change, engage in collaborative thinking, work in a virtual setting and maintain attention to detail
  • Good customer service, and relationship skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal/external clients, management, and other IT and business resources
  • Understand the typical business issues related to security and compliance
  • Skills to understand and analyze processes for internal\external audits and regulatory requirements (i.e. SSAE16, SOX, PCI)
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and Frenchspeaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
