WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING...

Here is our wish list of what we are looking for in our new dream team member As a product manager, you will bring your experience and expertise to support our scrums to build and refine our processes.

Working closely with our program director and project manager in engaging with our end users to create user stories for the team to help facilitate and guide the contractual obligations.

You have 5+ years' experience working in an agile environment with a technical background and product development knowledge. You are someone who provides inspiration and can firmly guide and lead incredible teams.

Someone who can develop and implement documented systems, processes, success metrics and reporting frameworks to ensure clear program and product management.

Is this you? Are you bold, have experience in early stages of product development with a mix of start up technical experience in smaller companies? Then we want to talk to you.......

The MIST project is our core product developed through the Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) program and is key to our success.

In order to support the core product, we are looking for the following.

QUALIFICATIONS*Minimum 5 years of industry experience with product management

Technical background in the software world

Experience with collaborating end users

Not afraid to assert your self when needed

Provide leadership and guidance to the teams

Scrum & Agile knowledge

A passion for tech and an interest in machine learning & AI

Experience working with small teams

For soft skills we would like to find someone who is adaptable, creative, multidisciplinary, self-directed

Canadian Citizen / Permanent Resident for at least 10 years

Security clearance check (Criminal Record and Credit Check)

Bonus:
Familiar in the AI space

Bonus:
Domain experience in the defence world would be a huge asset but not necessary.

COMPENSATION
$130,000-$140,000

"Okanagan Relocation Top Up" - We aren't blind to the fact that we're asking you to relocate, on top of the fact that while the world has removed to remote, we do require you to come into the office periodically (don't worry we have never been in the office full-time, even pre-Covid). Of course that comes with a relocation package, but we also want you to be able to enjoy the perks that the Okanagan has to offer (extensive wineries, world-renown ski hills, and sandy beaches anyone?) without breaking the bank. This is why we offer a 10% top up once you are relocated.

Stock options based on experience, competency and length of service

5 weeks paid vacation throughout the year PLUS additional 1 week paid off during the Christmas holiday season. 6 weeks total
