Yacht Charter (Sailing) Customer Service Reservation Agent
Seeking part-time agent or independent contractor (up to 24 hours/week)

Competitive hourly wage with an opportunity to travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Not to mention, sailing in the Caribbean. Fully Remote opportunity.

Located in the windward islands of the Caribbean, St. Vincent and the Grenadines is home to Barefoot Yacht Charters. Barefoot Yacht Charters offers a unique vacation experience for those who want to discover paradise. Our dedicated team provide all the information guests need to explore the crystal blue Caribbean waters by yacht. We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Reservation Agent who will report into our Canadian 'base'. This role is fully remote (work from home). As a member of our dynamic team, you learn about St. Vincent and the Grenadines, sailing and boat charters.

The Customer Service Reservation Agent (CSRA) is member of the bookings team and reports into our Canadian Base.

The CSRA is the first interaction with a guest when they contact us to inquire about their charter, therefore this role requires a high level of customer service and multi tasking.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

Provide local information to customers with an overview of the yacht charter experience and inspire them to want to learn more.

This may include local transportation, accommodation options at Barefoot, costs and recommend suitable experiences/yachts.

Learn about Barefoot Yachts in order to promote an experience in accordance with customer expectations. Upkeep of customer data with Customer Relationship Manager system and manage the scheduling using Bookings Manager. Confirm availability of resources and schedule reservations accordingly. Maintain a high degree of accuracy and coordination of yacht schedules. Keep customers informed of any and all changes related to the Yacht Charter. Improve processes to continuously raise the bar.

All other duties as required.

Criteria and Qualifications

Must be 100% customer service oriented, have excellent people skills with a positive and upbeat personality.

Independent contractor would be an asset.

Minimum 5 years in people service industry required.

Previous work in sailing industry experience an asset.

Passionate about sailing.

Demonstrated proven skills developing positive customer relationships.

Data entry skills and ability to manage data accurately.

Takes accountability for errors and omissions.

Responsible for closing the reservation and tracking payments.

Knowledge of Caribbean culture or willingness to learn, helpful.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) required.
