We currently have a
Regular Part Time (0.3FTE) opportunity for a
Patient Administrative Associate
in the NICU
Department
at our Bayview **campus.


Hours of Work:


Weekdays & Weekends:
Days, Evenings, Nights
; 8/12 hrs; As per schedule

Statutory Holidays required


Summary of Duties


The PAA is responsible for staffing, scheduling, payroll and other administrative support as required to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Follow up clinic.


Qualifications/Skills

  • One year of Community College-Medical Terminology course preferred
  • One year of Administrative/Business experience required, in a health care setting preferred
  • Keyboarding at 40 net w.p.m minute or keyboarding at 106 net keystrokes per minute.
  • Advanced computer skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of ESP staff scheduling and payroll Outstanding Customer Service Skills Essential.
  • Ability to organize work effectively, and work at a fast pace in an unpredictable environment that requires the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, ability to deal with conflict and communicate appropriately with staff and families.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to work in an interprofessional team environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of collective agreements including ONA, SEIU clerical and service collective agreements
