    The Role

    As we continue to scale and diversify our audience, channels, services, and technology products, we are searching for a self-motivated, organized, and technologically adept Senior Manager, Content & Product. This role will be crucial in maintaining our reputation as a leader in the Canadian web content space. We are seeking someone eager to grow with our organization, allowing us to help more and more Canadian newcomers. This role is initially remote, but we are opening an office in Toronto in the fall.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • With the help of executive and existing content team, you will develop a deep understanding of immigration content
    • Define our audiences and user personas in a systematic way
    • Develop content strategies with the executive team to better serve the needs of our user base
    • Implement content strategies with our content team
    • Review and edit content written by our content team
    • Use data-driven analysis to monitor the impact and success of our content strategies across our channels
    • Discuss, prioritize, and plan web content and app projects with the executive team
    • Take ownership over cross-functional web projects, helping us develop leading immigration technology
    • Serve as a product manager for an early stage software product

    Requirements & Qualifications

    Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Have knowledge of – or be willing to quickly and thoroughly learn about (significant support and assistance from our team will be provided) – Canadian immigration and related industries
    • Able to work independently and take initiative
    • Great technology skills and the ability to quickly learn new platforms (Notion, WordPress, Meta Ads, Google Sheets, Google AdManager, WebinarJam, etc.)

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

    Experience

    • 2+ years of experience with web or app content
    • 2+ years of experience in people management with direct reports
    • Nice to have: 1+ years of experience in product/project management
