Our company is looking for a Lounge Server & Bartner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage;
Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods;
Be ready and willing to assist busperson with clearing and resetting tables;
Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our pointofsale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar;
Other duties as assigned;
Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment;
Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them;
Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise;
Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions;
Other duties as required;
Ensuring that all service items are stocked (Cutlery, plates, napkins, glassware);
Appropriate uniform and name badge to be worn at all times;
Ensure accurate information is communicated at all time, keeping in mind personal preferences and/or dietary restriction or allergens;
Assist other staff in their sections by helping where needed;
Adhere to sanitation and safety control policies.

Requirements:

Ability to understand and followout orders so as to serve the food correctly and attractively according to specified portion control;
The ability to work accurately and quickly;
Previous experience with elderly would be considered an asset;
No experience required;
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a pointofsale system;
MUST be Smart Serve Certified;
Must be able to speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English;
Must be at least 18 years of age;
Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests;
Experience and Food Safe certification is an asset;
Sincere desire to please others;
Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions;
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours);
Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds;
Organized, flexible and reliable
