Busters Towing is a busy 24-hour operation that has been proudly serving the
City of Vancouver for over 70 years.

We are trusted towing professionals with the largest fleet of light, medium, and heavy-duty tow trucks in Western Canada.

We currently have one opening.

Below is the shift to join our team as a F/T dispatcher:

-
Monday to Friday: 9 am - 5 pm (Day-time shift)_

Duties and Responsibilities:

Communicating with drivers over the 2 way radio
Providing drivers with information such as location, type of vehicle, instructions
Data entry, high accuracy
Prioritizing emergency calls
Keeping track of jobs, making sure they are distributed fairly
Customer Service answering inbound and making outbound calls
Providing daily reports to Management
Following safety procedures

Requirements:

- excellent communication skills
- self-motivated and responsible
- strong multi-tasking skills

Professional and adaptable

- geographical knowledge of the City of Vancouver
- able to solve problems promptly and independently in accordance with Company policies/procedures

Has a Secondary School Diploma
Has 23 years of dispatching experience
Clean Criminal Record

Job Duties:

Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergencies
Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
Maintain vehicle operator work records using computerized or manual methods and ensure timesheets and payroll summaries are completed accurately
Other duties as requested
