The focus area covered by this position: Physical Security, with a primary focus on working with audit services, external parties and key internal stakeholders to develop, implement, measure, document and enforce physical security best practices and promote organizational understanding of the importance of physical security.
Position Details- Non-union - This position is permanent full time.
Key Accountabilities- Manage the on-going development and review of physical security practices, policies, standards and procedures.- Manage the design and implementation of physical security controls for SaskEnergy assets.- Manage day-to-day operations of physical security controls, alerts, and maintenance and support activities.- Coordinate and facilitate audit engagements related to physical security of corporate assets.- Lead the planning of regular reviews and testing of corporate physical security policies, practices, standards and procedures.- Lead the on-going review of the physical security threat landscape and undertake the updating of corporate physical security policies, practices, standards and procedures to ensure continued mitigation of risks.- Lead the timely response to system-generated alerts including managing the incident response process.- Provide guidance, training, coaching, feedback and recognition, maintaining a positive and productive culture that includes safety, accountability, respect, motivation and effective communication.- Provide technical expertise to Enterprise Security, HR and Legal during investigations of a sensitive nature.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- A recognized Bachelor's Degree in business administration, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline;- Six (6) Years in physical security leadership position.- Certification in Physical Security such as ASP, PSP or CPP would be considered an asset.
A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
