What your day and week could look like
Reporting to the Income and Funding Manager, a Credit Investigator plays an essential role in mitigating risk by verifying and validating consumer information specific to their affordability to repay this loan

This includes:

Calculating applicants' income based on documents provided using policy and rationale
Extensive and advanced internet searches
Verifying employment details verbally with employers
Verifying details of consumer insolvencies, including phone interviews with Trustees
Balancing attention between new files and follow up on outstanding files
Handling all customer requests with service excellence in a timely manner

What you bring:

Fluent ability to write and speak business information in English and French; Maitrise du langage d'affaire en anglais et en français (à l'oral et à l'écrit).
Investigative nature with an appetite to find the truth.
Strong attention to detail and easily picks out inconsistencies.
Analytical and comfortable with math.
Ability to juggle competing priorities with a sense of urgency.
