QUALIFICATIONS

Proper certification in Hairstyling from a recognized educational training facility
Journeyperson and Red Seal required.
Three years minimum previous industry experience in Hairstyling.
Demonstrable an ability to be a problem solver, a team player, to take initiative and be selfmotivated.
Willingness to complete all MC College and provincial educational requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the guidance of the school director and other members of the education department the Instructor is responsible for:

Adhere to and motivate students with the concept and values of the mission statement;

"_MC College empowers Future Professional for the Beauty and Fashion industry with skills to change their lives and enjoy rewarding careers."_

Represent the college in a professional manner to the students and clients, with a professional image and positive presentation.
Coach and mentor selfmarketing skills, salon simulation, sales and promotional techniques, and methods to build and retain a clientele for each graduating student.
