Position Summary

Join Karrot as our Community & Content Manager, where you'll wear two hats, each vital in stitching together the vibrant tapestry of our community.

You know that quality content wears the crown, so in one role you're mapping out and managing our pipeline of content by posting, sourcing, and managing content streams from local creators and influencers that can bring the Karrot Story to life.

In the other, you're the mastermind behind hyper-local experiential events, crafting unique moments of connection between neighbours, but memorable community experiences.

This dual role is all about celebrating and elevating the local pulse - where every creator partnership and every event is a chapter in Karrot's unfolding narrative.

Key Responsibilities

Creator Account Management:

  • Find, engage, and build relationships with local creators and influencers to create content that tells the Karrot story, to be used on our ads and social channels.
  • Own the content calendar and distribution for User-Generated Content (UGC), and Influencer content, ensuring a steady flow of engaging materials.
  • Manage your own operating budget and payment schedule, aligning with the broader team's objectives and initiatives to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of creator partnerships and continuously adapt strategies to maximize engagement and brand alignment.

Local Community Management:

  • Design, partner, and execute impactful hyperlocal marketing events that directly engage our community and enrich the Karrot experience.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of events into the broader marketing strategy.
  • Manage all aspects of community event planning, from conception to execution, including budgeting, partnership negotiations, ontheday logistics, and ongoing relationship for future engagements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency or local startup environment, specifically working on content management, influencer partnerships, and/or community management.
  • Proven track record of building successful partnerships with strong alignment.
  • Experience in managing a creator partnership funnel, from initial outreach and engagement to establishing longterm collaborative relationships.
  • Strong proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative analysis for strategic planning and measuring the performance of partnerships and events.
  • Creative flair in storytelling and content creation, with a keen eye for what resonates with local communities.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously without missing a beat.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of individuals and audiences.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible work hours and unlimited time off to balance your work and personal life.
  • Opportunity to work in a small team, making a significant impact on local communities.
