Description
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient store performance
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Manage and supervise store employees, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Maintain inventory levels and order merchandise as needed
- Monitor sales and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures
- Utilize pointofsale (POS) system to process transactions and maintain accurate records
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Train new hires on store policies, procedures, and product knowledge
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, goals, and expectations
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop marketing strategies to drive sales
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Salesoriented mindset with the ability to sell products and meet sales goals
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and inventory management
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and training new employees
Salary:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour
