We are currently looking for a
Shipper/Receiver to join our team
.
The Shipper/Receiver is an integral part of the team, assisting the tradespeople and preparing customer orders.

What you will be doing:

The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Wash and Clean parts
Organize the warehouse.
Write up incoming jobs.
Prepare outgoing shipments for transportation.
Assist Tradespersons, as required.
Operate a forklift in the shop.
Drive company vehicle to deliver orders to customers, as required.
Put away electric motors.
General housekeeping of the service shop and the warehouse
Any other duties assigned by the shop Foreman, as required.

What we need from you:

Experience in a similar role
Forklift Licence
A valid driver's license.
Good organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
Physically able to lift to 50 lb.
Flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
Accountability and strong attention to detail
Selfstarter with developed analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong computer skills
Safety training, an asset
Work Conditions:_
Safety equipment, e.g., steeltoed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles will be required.
Overtime hours, as required.
Hazards associated with the trade.
Manual dexterity and the ability to remain standing, crouching, or bending for long periods.
