Payroll Team Lead

This position will be fully office-based, in our Vancouver airport office.

Requirements:

Process biweekly payroll within inhouse payroll software
Review and approve payroll records
Process and input new hire information, pay rate adjustments, vacations, payroll adjustments, and resignations into the payroll system while crossreferencing against supporting documentation
Prepare manual cheques with appropriate tax deductions when needed
Respond to payroll queries related to pay, deductions, tax withholding, and benefits
Prepare and remit CRA Remittances after each payroll run
Reconcile and submit Union Dues and Benefit Premiuims
Stay uptodate on employment standards and collective bargaining agreements
Other duties as required to assist with organizational needs

Qualifications

Experience leading a team
Thorough knowledge of payroll practices and CRA legislation
Strong computer proficiency in payroll software and Excel
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to effectively work in a team environment and independently
Payroll Compliance Practicioner (PCP) is considered an asset

Salary:
$65,000 - $70,000
