FinSANA is looking for a
Data Analyst to join our Analytics team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Analytics, the Data Analyst will work with the business to understand new data sources, assess data quality, build critical reports, and perform ad hoc analyses.

This person is quantitatively driven, detail-focused, with excellent inter-personal skills to deliver timely and accurate analyses.

This person will work closely with Risk, Marketing, Product managers to identify trends and help growing the business influencing data driven decision making.

The role will involve ad hoc reporting and analysis as well as recurring reporting depending on business needs.

Specific responsibilities include:


  • Extract data from primary and secondary data sources, review, analyze data, interpret, and summarize key information to help identify trends and insights using statistical techniques.
  • Build, execute, and test SQL queries.
  • Support ad hoc analyses, as requested by various business functions.
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with a multifunctional team, communicate business scope and train stakeholders where needed.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Graduate degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a degree in mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, and strategy development in the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience using SQL to perform queries to analyze, extract and validate data.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience in SSRS, Python, R is a plus.
  • Proven ability to effectively analyze and interpret large amounts of raw data.
  • Solid knowledge of financial services industry and the products and services related to consumer credit (Risk, Analytics, or Marketing)

  • Organizational skills and time management skills; planning and project management, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
